In light of growing concern about travel due to the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we have made the difficult decision to cancel the College Board Prepárate conference scheduled for April 23–24. We made this decision with the health and safety of our members, students, attendees and staff as our top priority.
All registrations will be refunded via the initial form of payment.
As immediate next steps, please:
- TRAVEL: Reach out to your airline carrier to cancel all reservations related to the conference. College Board will not be responsible for any travel or related out-of-pocket expenses.
- HOTEL: If you booked in the block at ARIA Resort & Casino and Park MGM, your reservation will be automatically canceled. If you booked outside of the Prepárate conference block, you will be responsible for canceling your reservation and be subject to the hotel’s refund policies.
The goals of Prepárate are central to the mission of the College Board and our work to support students from all backgrounds. We're exploring future opportunities to share the content from scheduled sessions through alternative formats, including virtual learning. We'll ensure that we feature this content at future College Board convenings, including the addition of key sessions to our annual Forum scheduled October 26–28 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
We appreciate your patience as we address this difficult situation. We will soon be in touch with all attendees, presenters and planning committee members with additional information. We'll also post updates to our website.
As we monitor the spread of the coronavirus and receive further guidance from public health organizations, we'll provide timely updates should new developments affect any of our other upcoming conferences. Our focus is on the health and safety of our members, students, attendees and staff.
